Meet Our Proprietor: Mrs. Ricky Abigail Ozigi 👑📚
The adage that "training a woman means training the whole world" is perfectly embodied in the life of our proprietor, Mrs. Ricky Abigail Ozigi.
A princess born into affluence, she chose not to rely on her birthright but instead embraced hard work, realism, and faith to build an enduring educational legacy spanning 40 years.
A Legacy of Two Great Schools
Mrs. Ozigi's journey as an educator began with small, faithful steps:
The Origin (Zaria): She started her first institution, Abdulaziz International Memorial School, in a very small place in Zaria, Kaduna State.
The school grew significantly, prompting a move to a larger location in Ilorin when her husband was serving the Kwara state government.
The Abuja Chapter: She also started her second Education venture, Robato Schools, Abuja, continuing her passion for raising children by starting classes in one room of their house before securing land.
Driven by her "flare for bringing up children," Mrs. Ozigi formalized her commitment by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, graduating in 1983.
Today, Robato Schools is known as one of the top private schools in Abuja, boasting over 26 years of consistent reputation, high standards, and still remaining affordable. Abdulaziz International Memorial School, Ilorin and Robato Schools, Abuja, have both become household names.
Like the biblical mustard seed, her schools started small but have grown exponentially, surviving and thriving for over 40 years due to a good session plan, dedicated staff, and God’s faithfulness.
